• KAWASAKI QUICK SHIFTER: Complementing the Versys® 1100 SE LT ABS motorcycle’s exhilarating engine character, Kawasaki Quick Shifter (KQS) enables clutchless upshifts and downshifts for seamless acceleration and quick, easy deceleration. The updated KQS feature operates in a wider range of rpm, with a lower minimum rpm limit, giving riders smooth shifts even when in town or doing slower-speed riding for added riding comfort.
• "HEY KAWASAKI, SWITCH TO SPORT MODE": A Bluetooth® chip built into the instrument panel lets you connect to your motorcycle wirelessly. Using smartphone connectivity (via RIDEOLOGY THE APP MOTORCYCLE*) several instrument functions can be accessed allowing you to view vehicle info, riding log, phone notifications, tuning of general settings, Kawasaki Riding Management, and navigation. The Versys® 1100 SE LT ABS motorcycle is available with new smartphone connectivity with voice control using RIDEOLOGY THE APP MOTORCYCLE*. • LEAN INTO IT: LED cornering lights are thoughtfully built into the shrouds, helping illuminate the road when cornering. Each of the three lights has a fixed direction and is activated based on lean angle. As the bike leans over, the lights come on in sequential order, creating a wider illuminated path in the direction the bike is heading.
• HIGH-GRADE INSTRUMENTATION: All-digital thin-film transistor (TFT) full-color instrumentation gives you clear visibility on vital information from your motorcycle. Paired with the analogue-style tachometer, the cockpit achieves a high-tech design while maintaining an adventure-ready sense of utility.

Electronic Rider Aids

• OPEN-ROAD ASSISTANCE: Whether riding solo or with a passenger, you’ll always have a highly intelligent co-pilot with the new Versys® 1100 SE LT ABS motorcycle. Travel in confidence with a suite of electronic rider aids that let you focus on the ride.
• INERTIAL MEASUREMENT UNIT: Using Bosch’s compact Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), inertia is monitored along 6 Degrees of Freedom. Acceleration along longitudinal, transverse, and vertical axes, plus roll rate and pitch rate are measured. The yaw rate is calculated using Kawasaki’s proprietary dynamic modeling software. Inputs from the IMU give the ECU software an even clearer real-time picture of chassis orientation.
• KAWASAKI TRACTION CONTROL: Kawasaki TRaction Control (KTRC) covers a wide range of riding conditions, offering enhanced sport riding performance and confidence while you’re on the road. When turned on, you can select from three modes to choose the degree in which each mode intervenes during riding.
• KAWASAKI CORNERING MANAGEMENT FUNCTION: The Versys® 1100 SE LT ABS utilizes advanced technology to deliver superior cornering performance. The Kawasaki Cornering Management Function (KCMF) uses input from the IMU to enable cornering management, which monitors engine and chassis parameters to assist riders in holding their intended line through corners.
• KAWASAKI INTELLIGENT ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM: Kawasaki’s supersport-grade, high-precision brake management system is standard on the Versys® 1100 SE LT ABS motorcycle. High-precision brake pressure control enables the hydraulic pressure to be modulated in much smaller increments than standard ABS systems, conserving lever feel when Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock Brake System (KIBS) is active and ensuring that ABS pulses feel light.

• SMOOTH & RESPONSIVE: Electronic Throttle Valves enable the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) to control the volume of both fuel and air delivered to the engine, resulting in smooth, natural engine response and output. Electronic Cruise Control is also made possible by the advanced functioning of Electronic Throttle Valves.
• COMING IN CLUTCH: Assist & Slipper Clutch technology offers a comfortably light lever pull and back-torque limiting function. When excessive engine braking occurs the slipper cam relieves pressure on the clutch plates to help prevent the rear tire from hopping or skidding.
• GEAR UP: Longer overall gearing optimizes power feel for the higher-displacement engine. Gear ratios were chosen to accommodate a wide range of riding situations, including sport riding, highway cruising, and riding fully loaded with passenger and luggage.
